For the ones who don't know, I work with Product Management for e-commerces and I deal with e-commerces from Vtex. For those who don't know it, Vtex is a Brazilian company that does the same that Shopify, for example.

And every year they host a conference with heavyweight speakers. The last edition in 2019 had Barack Obama as the main speaker. And the main speaker for this year edition is, yes, Sir Lewis Hamilton.

I have zero interest in hearing him talking to CEOs and tech buffs, but it's amazing how he's able to do such a thing while still competing.

Oh and the weather forecast looks fantastic. Mid-high 20's the whole weekend and no rain.

Peter, next time you jog the lap, don't bother looking

And that's not a fantastic weather forecast, needs more rainnnnn

Next time, I'll keep my mouth shut...

Sunday April 10
Melbourne area
Partly cloudy.
High (70%) chance of showers, most likely later in the day.
(0-8mm)

Maybe I'll leave it to Fabs, but now they're saying rain for race day.

Because the race is being held after daylight saving, there isn't too much sun in the day, so darkness could end the race.

Sooooo its going to be 40 degrees with a hot Northerly then......at lunch time. With a Southerly change from Bass Straight down to 15 degrees and rain by start time. Got it.

700 oz dollars, thought it would cost more. At least they could bundle with some bottles

Many people complained about the new TV Graphics for this season. And this text explains why it is bad based on key design principles.

I stopped reading at

They tricked me into thinking, “Wow, Verstappen’s speed was 132,213 KMPH?!”

Because that's obviously serious... You should've kept reading. His proposals are way more clear to read, including the one for speed.

The current one is atrocious and messes with you regardless of the speed unit you want to look at. If it requires conscious effort to distinguish, it's bad.

Following the end of its partnership with Haas, the Mazepins demanded a full refund to the money it had paid after signing a deal at the start of the 2021 season.

And then

Quote:
The claim of Uralkali to obtain the re-payment of the down paid amount of EUR 12,000,000 [$13 million] is therefore ungrounded and rejected.

So.......did Mazepin only pay $13 million....total? That seems awfully low. I would have imagined it would have been much more than that.

That's Miami? Where's the famous beach? This track looks like Sochi to me, at least the Vegas track will feature the things what the city is famous for.
