It seems more likely that HQ took one look at the entry fee ($400 million) and said nein, danke.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Yeah, as long as that stays the likelihood of all new teams is low.

And if they apparently do wish to pay it the FIA is gonna drag its heels in accepting a new team.

McLaren take over is less likely, seemingly looks like Aston is the target

so Daddy Strulovich turned a case of low budget success into an epic failure

I wonder if Audi is gonna take a team and quit the field just like their opponents Toyota and BMW

What track maxes out at 10 garages, and how is it possibly on the F1 calendar or even able to host enough events to stay in business?

so the next order from Liberty is that teams must use even bigger motorhomes and hospitalities so it cannot be possible for more teams to fit into the paddock

Liberty: "Lets work off the incredible hype drive to survive as and expand our reach in the sport by...adding no new teams"

Lacking foresight on this one. Tacky new races in the US and Middle East aren't the future. There could be days where Mercedes, Ferrari and co gets sick of losing to Venture Capitalists and Soft Drink makers and decide to fuck off. Need more competition and manufacturers involved.

My guess is that Zandvoort is in this list.

If Monaco can squeeze 12 teams into it's area (which is did in 2012) anyone who wants a race should be able to have space for 12 teams.

But are they using F1 garages? Formula Regional had over 30 cars last year at Monaco too but I think smaller series doesn't have proper pits, just are lying in front of F1 cars during races

No they come up from the support paddock. Hence that time Ticktum filmed himself driving on the Monaco road in his F2 car.

They actually did build more garages at Monaco because the lesser teams used to have to be based in a car park.

so they can place the pressure on the tracks and clean themselves away from the greed reason behind less teams

but wait until someone like Alpine or Aston Martin call it quits or bail out, they'll call interested parties at no time

There's a Netflix doco which the late Max Mosely appears, and he had a fascinating thing to say about the $100m fine given to McLaren for spygate.

He'd certainly know one when he saw one, having studied many at great length in one of his parties*

*To be clear, they weren't Nazi themed parties though ;)
