Won't need rain for that to happen. |

The question is not if Hamilton will win the title this race, but how Ferrari is going to screw it up and hand it to him. |

Wasn't the whole gist of it based around some scribblings from Tavo Hellmund? Would be interesting to see what the original design looked like and how much influence Tilke had. I'm going to pre-emptively blame him for all the bad parts, which may be unfair but is also probably right |

Didn't they just tag on corners from other tracks? Or am I thinking of another track. |

they actually picked the worst curves of the best tracks, which means it doesn't even have personality the only part worth is the first corner and is not that awesome |

Essentially it was 3 long straights, then a ridiculous high speed section where the cars never went below 5th gear. With COTA they should draw a straight line from where turn 3 is now, to where the last turn is now, make it the track, turn it into a Brands Hatch Indy style circuit and have a 300 lap grand prix there. I'd love to see a grand prix where cars are doing 30 second laps, if you're not near the lead and you put you immediately go a lap down. (Essentially I want an oval grand prix) Norisring, with DRS allowed on both straights. Not a single team would pull up any sort of lead, you'd have an oval pack-race deal and dive-bomb drama at about every corner. A Force India could win a race like this. |

Buddh International Circuit was just an inverted version of parts of Istanbul Park. Some of it was interesting but the majority was typical formulaic stuff we've got used to with Tilke tracks. Sepang is my favourite of his tracks, with China second. Korea was also good, as is Austin yet both have a few unnecessary corners (for the sake of having more corners). |
