Lewis would be slaughtered on here if he wore his sunglasses on the podium lol

But aww, Kimi can do what he wants ;)

Great that Kimi finally wins a race. Great for the sport.

This is literally the best day in the history of mankind. I'm so happy that I got to see Kimi win with Ferrari again on live TV.
10/10 race btw, when was the last time we had a 3-way battle for victory over 10+ laps?

I take it back. Although it's hard to tell if it was a tactical master stroke or a case of throwing enough shit at the wall until some of it sticks...

But anyway. Woo Kimi! :flag: Didn't think we'd get to see him take another win, really pleased that we did.

So happy to see Kimi win, there hasn't been a good news story in F1 for what seems like ages. Also erie to think this was probably the last win of a driver from an era prior to Lewis :8:

How am I supposed to bitch about Kimi being over the hill and not worthy of an F1 seat after a race like that?

A great race and a well deserved and long overdue win for Kimi. Vettel once again Vettel’ed himself. He must hold the record for most first lap incidents in F1 history surely.

Oh and lots happening after the race I see, with Ocon and then Magnussen DSQ for fuel usage infringements. So Hartley and Ericsson move into the points.

And Grosjean is now just two points away from another race ban.

Horner on Ricciardo's retirement: “I’m sure he’ll be having a word with his future employers about it”

As much glee as Christian takes in that line every time Dan retires, it's starting to feel like it's part of the plan. If Renault is solely to blame, why has Max and the Renault team had a generally clean run of reliability?

Yeah I'd be willing to bet Max is getting all the new parts and Ricciardo the spares and rejects at this point

As much as they love to point the finger at Renault, I think the customer team has had only 1 or 2 retirements due to the power train this season, AND they're running the slightly-less reliable engine upgrade Red Bull said no to

Good luck with that, Honda.

If they go full Mclaren next year, I expect Red Bull to quit before the new regs come in

Also, good to see Hartley soundly beat his teammate and get points after another weekend of rumours of his axing. Don't expect to see it get any attention in the F1 media.

I wonder how many $$ Haas shelved out to ensure Grosjean received a solitary penalty point today?

Not sure why they haven't thought to transfer him to their NASCAR team, his tactics would go down a lot better over there.
