The four tyres. You only need two tyres to race an engine efficiently around a racetrack, the two others are redundant. <-------- |

Standardization of core aspects... i.e. single type of engine configuration, single tyre supplier, etc... The concept of increased component lifespan in the name of cost reduction. |

Exactly. I should've said "the lack of...", because in F1, nothing will ever top those two moments. It has been just a stream of disappointments, since those incidents. |

Full faced helmets - F1 fans won't tolerate anything that obscures visibility of the driver Seatbelts - Anything that slows a driver's exit from their car is just asking for fatalities The FIA not using any of the great ideas we have at TBK |

Ground effect being banned Turbos being banned Traction Control, Launch Control, Grooved tyres, Refueling and the shitshow that was the first decade of the 2000s Single car qualifying Tarmac Runoffs The 2017 increase in downforce levels Not racing exclusively in the wet Purism, or the notion that doing anything to increase the entertainment levels of the races is "not what Formula 1 is about" |

Ugly boring Mercedes farting sounding dominating a slowly boring crawling 3 straight seasons. F1 died a lot when 2014 started, and even more the following years of that facepalm torturous tragedy of an era. Also, Oh wait, new car paintings!!!! - black, grey, white and grey, grey and black. Over-complicated wheels and engineers that have more power than drivers. Safety-car rain parades. At least now standing starts always. Road-courses full of run-off areas. Oh, so much hipe for Valencia and Abu-dhabi on paper. Oh, so much disappointment. At least we have Baku and Singapore now. |
