Congratulations to Valtteri Bottas and for those who voted for him in the previous such poll.

As usual, a new vote opens following a Grand Prix which has had a new winner.

The poll will run until Thursday before Spanish GP.

Someone else.
I see only Hamilton, Vettel, Bottas, Ricciardo or Verstappen be able to win for the next 2-3 years.

Going to say Hulkenberg on the basis that Renault have the most room to improve, but like JJ says I think it's going to be a while before we have another new winner

In general, I think the one who goes to Ferrari to replace Kimi would be the strongest candidate. But...who is it is the bigger question.

Going to vote Perez this time.

The next winner is likely to be whoever takes over from Kimi at Ferrari. Unless there is a freak race like Nurburgring 1999 or Interlagos 2003.

Probably Giovinazzi since it's possible he'll replace Räikkönen in 2018 or 2019. He definitely needs more experience though.

randomness racing seems to get rare day by day, very unlikely to see all good cars retiring in one race

last time voted for Grosjean, a total fluke. now I vote for Ocon, if he gets a Mercedes drive in a few years

I'd say Gio, he's gotta be in a Ferrari sooner or later.

no love for Kimi? :whistling:

Santander still sponsors Ferrari and Charlie is the best driver of the non-winners, imho.

Sainz got my vote. Either he or Ricciardo will end up in Kimi's seat. If it's Ricciardo, Sainz will end up in the RBR and in both cases he has the best shot of the current winless crop IMHO.

Bottas so far is impressive enough to keep the seat away from Ocon.

If McLaren actually knew how to compete, put Vandoorne down.

As everyone pointed out, very difficult because there are a lot of skilled guys out there but it will all depend on which seat they manage to get into.

Purely in the context of a wild enough race in 2017 or 2018 though, I hesitated a lot between Hulkenberg and Perez, but Perez seems to be the closest to snatch one at the moment.

I think Perez will be the next one...Actually I see him at Ferrari before Giovinazzi. Tony would probably get a full season in Sauber or FI before any move to Ferrari.

Nico Hülkenberg, but that's more because I hope than think that he'll become the next winner and hope he won't become like Nick Heidfeld.

The monkey on Hulkenberg's back will be a podium finish. At least Heidfeld got a few of those.

Perez got plenty of those and that might hurt Hulk a little as he has none.
