No, Bernie will just claim that they have to pay the same price as everyone else.

I can't really understand that he doesn't see this will end badly in the very near future.

He doesn't care because there is always someone willing to pay, and once he's burnt through his middle east bridges, he'll be dead from old age so won't have to worry about fixing things, that'll be Flav's'job.

Flavio as his replacement? I hope that is a joke.

I dont really give 2 fucks about how much slower a GP2 car is. I just want a healthy F1 with a full grid of 26 cars, multiple teams fighting for the win, underdogs like Minardi to root for, sensible rules and tracks with crowds and history.

Who cares if GP2 cars are close? We cream over the olden days and guess what? They even ran Formula 2 cars

It is now but that was his original plan before crashgate.

Lol, the guy has been convicted of fraud also, cheating is in his nature. I see how he can be perfect for f1. In a few years, he might still be the one who replaces Bernie, most have forgotten and other people won't fight it.

Any of my number 2s would do an equally decent job.

What a wonderful future F1 has once Bernie passes - Flavio or Tamara, both willing to do a facelift and put some botox on it too.

But with Flabio they might be forced to build better looking cars.

Ugly drivers might be banned though.

I'm just waiting him to pass away, there should be someone that isn't addicted to money to run the sport

once I thought Montezemolo could be the new F1 owner

How about, for once, somebody without a conflict of interests or allegiance?

It's a business first, a sport second. Unfortunately, that means decisions will be made in the interest of business first, sport second.

Flavio and Luca are both idiots. Rich idiots who both still can't even speak sufficient english.

I'm slowly, but surely loosing interest. F1 has no longer the wow-factor it once had. Sure, i get older and a lot has to do with that. On the other hand, it's no longer man and machine. I'm not talking about safety, every result is utterly predictable. No surprises, cars run equally wel or bad at all the circuits, etc. Etc. Home advantage used to be significant, now, nobody cares, let alone it being a factor in a superb performance. Remember Barichello in Brazil? He always managed to punch above his weight. F1 has become utterly sterile, a business.

I'm sure he'll have loads of fun in the simulator.

And williams love a dour scottish voice for some of their media interviews, he'll probably get a couple of those per season too :)

Autosport's forecast of final standings for 2016 season.

1) Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes (299 pts)

2) Nico Rosberg, Mercedes (265)

3) Sebastian Vettel, Ferrari (248)

4) Valtteri Bottas, Williams (146)

5) Kimi Räikkönen, Ferrari (129)

6) Daniel Ricciardo, Red Bull (109)

7) Felipe Massa, Williams (78)

8.) Daniil Kvjat, Red Bull (41)

9) Max Verstappen, Toro Rosso (36)

10) Sergio Perez, Force India (33)

We'll see about how accurate that is. I bet the top 10 might have 8/10 of these names but none of them on the spots as predicted.

Nothing wrong with some predictions beforehand but I hope Autosport presented that with a grain of salt.
