Wonder if they might change pole next year. 1-3-5 all got pretty crap starts, although Vettel just hung on.

Kobayashi's moment on Lap One was weird. He just lost it on the dust rejoining the track

No he touched Glock I believe.

Looking forward to seeing what Michael can do next season. The 2nd half of his season has been pretty strong.

BBC showed Rowan's reaction a bit after FOM turned off. Another 4-5 seconds of funny gestures :p

For the 2nd time after Spa this year Schumacher received the better strategy than Rosberg despite worse qualifying results.

I think Daimler is trying to protect its most expensive employee from being defeated by the far cheaper teammate 2 years in row.

Sergio Perez will be beating Kamui Kobayashi next season imo. He's now gonna have the experience at every circuit, is a better qualifier and his racecraft is improving immensely. If he can avoid an incident like Monaco which makes him miss a race or two I think he'll be leading the Sauber team.

Finally, if Helmut Marko fires either STR driver he is even more of an idiot than I think he is now. Not only have hte STR team improved their car massively and this is all being done independantly of RBR both drivers are performing really well, much better in comparison to that massively underperforming Aussie who is set to potentially finish 4th! in the most dominant F1 car since 2004. Hopefully Jaime can leapfrog Kamui and Sutil in the last 2 races.

EDIT// Oh and can Ferrari fucking fire Felipe Massa already? Dude is an embarassment. If they don't hire Perez for 2013 someones need to question why they're actively throwing away WDC points. The accident was 2 years ago now, no need to feel guilty by telling him to go away and underperform elsewhere.

3. It was really poor. A shame as I like the circuit.

Agree with pretty much all the points.

Adam Parr avoiding the question about Kimi.

I think, Button proposed, not to spray champagne out of respect but Vettel did not agree.

Has someone of you understood the same?

That's what Martin Brundle understood as well. But that FIA/FOM guy next to them didn't seem that enthusiastic about the idea :o

Personally I think that Vettel's behaviour is incredibly ridiculous. No champagne on the podium would have been a nice gesture of respect, visible in every news broadcast of today. What he said in the press conference afterwards appears so lame after witnessing this dialogue with Button.

That in the end there would have been champagne action anyway because of FIA pressure is as expected. FIA has not change a bit since Imola 94. More than a minute of silence can't be part of the show.

At least Button seems to be an honourable and thoughtful chap.
