Magnussen actually touched the barrier a few corners before and damaged his suspension, leading to the actual crash. |

Lewis' mechanics dropped the car with a jack under the front wing. Jack swung over and slammed onto the top of the nose, making a sizeable hole. |

let's hope they didn't wasted the share of crashes for the weekend otherwise we'll have to call Maldonado |

We could have an entertaining race if the cars are this difficult to drive. Lots of incidents so far. Just waiting for them to level out the exit of the tunnel now... |

Delighted that the Renault engine is clearly up to the level it needs to be. There might be a proper title fight now. |

Horner said that the upgrade gave them a tenth-and-a-half here. They are expecting 5 tenths for Canada. |

Ironically there have probably been less crashes during indy practice week than most years....I'm expecting a pretty clean race there |

or they're saving everything for the race, as there was no need to take risks in timed sessions as everybody was safe wonder how knockout qualifying would work in monaco. shit as usual I guess |

We don't know though, how this will work with a 33 cars grid in a lap by lap pace. Back to F1, I'm amazed by how fast the times are this year compared to 2015, the difference has been much larger than in any other track so far. Of course the ultra soft tyres have a lot to do with that, but it's incredible how much the teams could improve, in just one year, without any real change to the rules. I'm also impressed by the number of crashes, touches to the wall and run offs we've see so far, it's the highest number of accidents/incidents, since the late 90's, early 00's sessions. This might result in a more eventful race, with the cars a bit harder to handle. I really hope we can have some surprises at the Top 6, like we usually have in Monaco. RedBull has showed a strong pace, not only in a single lap performance, but also in their race simulation. Mercedes might have a harder weekend, even though, they are still likely to do a 1-2. I really like Monaco, that's the kind of place where F1 should be more than just one a year! |

McLaren's propaganda for this weekend didn't really make the car faster. Hope Boullier keeps his mouth shut from now on. |

I really hope someone goes full troll on this one by putting on some mediums while on the lead, and proceeding to block the field for the whole race until something crazy happens. |
