Not the 1st time they read out a tweet or text of mine.

Only knew the answer to that as a friend asked me last week & I went back & looked at various onboards & other pics to find out.

Yay loads of tarmac. No cars getting stuck or adding any excitement.

They wouldn't either way. Cars going off on gravel traps is getting more and more rare.

Was that flip actually DUE to the gravel though, or had he had contact with another car beforehand?

Wonder if people are underestimating Red Bull's straight line speed - Red Bull has a great DRS, so they're struggling on circuits they excelled at in 2009, 2010. Hence they took pole in Canada and were 0.5 lap from winning, yet at Silverstone they were beaten by Alonso and in Spain, Hamilton was only half a second behind at the end.

They'll be there or thereabouts but unlike last year it's not a walkover. Wouldn't be surprised with a Lewis/Nando front row.

We'll see the RB7's true potential unlocked in Q3 tomorrow. Until then they'd be better off focusing on optimizing their race setup.

Wonder what he did. He hid it from the cameras pretty quickly.

Is that Vettel?

Without being too unkind to our Hungarian members, it's a relatively small, slightly unimportant country in the middle of Europe and my guess is that they'll do anything the FIA ask to try and keep their GP, because beyond that they've not got much from a sporting sense.

Well, you do have to give credit for the promotor of the Hungaroring when WTCC was around and they practically had a full house with Norbert Michelisz being the only Hungarian in the field :)

And how many venues can say they have been on the calendar every year since 1986? I can think of Monza and that's about it....

And Monaco obviously.

Silverstone had finished its sharing with Brands Hatch by then right? Despite all the dicking about with Donington, they still didn't miss a round....
