Would be hilarious if all the new teams and Williams got in because they entered properly and half the old teams were refused - especially Ferrari. They're starting to make SEAT look reasonable.

Seriously, the FIA is never going to be that stupid and leave the other top teams out in favour of some new and small teams

I wouldn't put anything past Mosely at this point. And he would have complete legal justification in leaving all the FOTA teams bar Ferrari out because they didn't submit their entry properly.

The FOTA teams were never interested in submitting a proper entry anyway.

FOTAgate? F1gate? Moselygate?

Might as well get the names in now before someone comes up with one.

Hang on, Ferrari lodged their place before the deadline as same as Williams?

Quote:
Pitpass immediately contacted a respected F1 insider, who has long experience of such matters. Asked about the claim that established teams' conditional entry is illegal, he replied: "The FOTA teams have not entered the World Championship in accordance with the regulations. Therefore, the only teams that are now officially entered are Ferrari (because of its contract with the FIA, which lasts through until 2012), Williams, because it broke ranks and signed, and those new teams that submitted entries by the May 29 deadline.

Just read Epsilon Euskadi has submitted its entry for 2010

So...
-Campos Meta 1
-USGPE
-Prodrive
-Lola
-Litespeed
-March
-SuperFund
-Epsilon Euskadi

The number of entries has almost doubled since the introduction of the budget gap rules. That's insane. :?

I feel that Red Bull might sell Toro Rosso to one of these entries. Then there might be one or two current teams that might leave (or be sold also). Then some of these entries might never happen. But I'm sure that there most definately will be 26 cars in the grid next year. Nice. 8)

I agree on the Torro Rosso sale. I even wouldnt be suprised to see Toyota sell the team and focus on engines and Force India being sold. But I also expect the FIA to fail in the selection of teams so we still don't end up with 26 cars.

wouldn't it be funny if all these new entries completely fail and we end up with all the current teams for next year?
