TELEVISION COVERAGE:
Every race and qualifying session will be shown live on BBC One, with the exception of qualifying for the Brazilian Grand Prix on 17 October, which will be shown on BBC Two.

All races and qualifying sessions that finish before 1000 will have a full repeat on either BBC One or Two later that day.

There will be a one-hour evening highlights programme at 1900 UK time on BBC Three for all races except Brazil.

RED BUTTON:
The BBC's red button interactive TV service will broadcast live coverage of all on-track sessions - Friday and Saturday practice, qualifying and race.

There will be an additional interactive analysis programme following on from the end of the BBC One coverage of each race.

On race day, viewers will be able to choose from three different video streams. These will be: the main network feed with a choice of commentary from BBC One and BBC Radio 5 Live; a split screen comprising the main network feed; an in-car camera feed and leaderboard; rolling highlights.

Afaik, you won't be able to receive interactive BBC ?

What's the current word on any potential GP2 and Porsche Supercup coverage?

Will they shown in any capacity on the BBC or will they be going back to Eurosport or something?

Rolling highlights would be cool.

That has got nothing to do with Schumacher. People still follow F1 in masses and motorsport in general. At the end of 2005 Premiere lost the rights for the german Bundesliga, and then they had to invest in other sports programmes, which was good if you ask me. But, in the middle of 2007 Premiere got the rights back, and since the the sport prgramme in general (not soccer) went downhill.

I didn't know that. But I also can remember some news last year talking about a loss of german audience after Schumacher retirement. Anyway, you are german so you must know a lot more than me of this issue

Well, Premiere is Pay-TV. And those who are interested in F1 rather than in one particular driver are paying for it. Of course they lost a bit of their audience, but not as much as free TV did.

The only cause for worry right now is the wording of there Interatice feeds: Quote: On race day, viewers will be able to choose from three different video streams. That seems to indicate that the only 3 feeds avaliable will be: 1 - World-Feed 2 - Multi-Screen (World-feed, OnBoard & Timing) 3 - Highlights Going by the wording it sounds like the Onboard & Timing feeds may not be avaliable seperately which would be hugely dissapointing if this is the case

All the BBCi channels are avaliable Free via Digital Satellite. If you have a Satellite dish pointing at 28.2e & have a Digital Satellite reciever or PC card you can recieve all the BBC Channels & Interactive channels Free. As far as I know, the interactive services on BBCi are only available with a proper Freeview box. I didn't think it was possible to point a dish at the satellite and be able to watch the BBCi channels.

I found a list of UK free proxies (amongst many other) at http://www.samair.ru/proxy/ but: 1-Only some of them were High-anonymous proxy. 2-From that selection, only few were working. 3-UK High-anonymous proxies that worked were so slow that was impossible to watch BBC One. Conclussion: Forget proxies and expect a miracle as last year with ITV. Otherwise, try to get a better list of free UK proxies. Doing a quick search I have read it's very difficult to find a good & free UK proxy. I hope they manage to make it a bit more constructive than ITV did for the last two years
