Sauber is ok, expected a bit more from the livery change though.

The Red Bull however is very interesting, looks like another brilliant idea by Newey

Definitely something going on with the Sauber nose. Look closely at the underside of the nose in this shot

So what's the running total on the step nose now?

Didn't the FIA try to alter things design wise a few years ago with regards to the height and sharpness of a cars nose after (can't remember who) had a crash and speared into the side of a Sauber? (driven by 'I can't remember!.. Bloody alziemers kicking in again) .. This looks like a regressive move to me..
I'm pretty sure if these noses hit square on the side of another car it would slice straight through.. They look like a carving knife!

I think it was the McLaren (1995?) that had a very sharp nose, which was concidered too dangerous. I think back then the 'dangerous' noses were sharp into one point, these noses are sharp, but are wide at then end, I don't see these things spear into another car.

but anyway, it is ugly, and somewhat out of proportion with the rest of the car...

Yeaa that was because Hakkinen t-boned Herbert at Montreal. Wasn't even that big a hit either.

it's called "tv gold" to highlight the sponsors in a better way.

'TV gold' is a cop-out. It is beige, and should be referred to as such.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

The duct in the step of the Red Bull nose could be an F-duct feeding air to the front wing:

I wonder if the extremely cold temperatures in Europe might cause some trouble for the track surfaces later in the year.

Don't think Cepsa will be there long seeing as they were tricked into staying with the team.
