And Button focked it :flag:

Because you're supposed to be expecting someone to brake in the middle of a straight coming for the restart?

He should expect everything and not sleep... He can sleep later, not in the race.

So that means everyone was asleep behind Schumi that day as EVERYONE took evasive action... not just Button...

Exactly.

That was 100% Schumachers fault. He slammed on the brakes and everyone had to take evasive action, if Button had been asleep he'd have done a Rosset.

Just thought. Vettel could win the title without winning a European race. Has that ever occurred before?

As a leader you set the pace. But you cannot dick about. That's the rules, once you've gone, go. You're not allowed to slow again.

To warm up the brakes you have to break. As everybody can see Button was dive-bombing from behind. Good morning Jenson! :D Clearly his fault and he paid the bill.

Seriously? Are we yet again discussing an incident that happened over 10 years ago?

Most drivers brake for corners. Unless your Michael.

Micheals judgement was never great in that regard, such as slamming on the brakes in the tunnel in Monaco and being surprised when Montoya hit the back of him.

He seemed to think he was the only one on the track sometimes and not realise there were other cars behind him who might not be ready for him to warm his tyres in the middle of a straight.

I was talking about 2000

Today, I don't think Vettel had gone yet, so Button was in the wrong.

You 'go' AFTER corners. Not before corners. If Vettel had 'gone' just before a braking zone then he'd brake and Button would catch him and the gap would be tiny. The point of going after the SC is to get yourself a gap. Vettel clearly hadn't gone yet because there was a god damn corner there.

Vettel didn't brake in the middle of a straight. It was a corner. A slow one at that.
