I always hated Schumacher, and I'm a Button fan, but that pass was quite great :8:

I reckon Jenson should have taken some inspiration from Sam Bird in GP2.

This is a rather suitably exciting grand prix race completed on this track, though neither abnormal starting position nor irregularities that unsettled the positions took place, boasted many enough interesting battles (by F1 standard), throughout the race. I continue to be positively surprised by the aerodynamical performance of the cars when Button, merely 1 second quicker, can get close enough to have many attempts at overtaking.

+2 for some overtaking happened

+4 Hamilton binning it at the end

so that's about 1/10, yay!

Wrong.

After a boring race like yesterdays, what do you expect? The race was so damn boring that it actually made people dumber and made them even to forget the most simplest calculus. My highlights was actually watching the local weather changes outside from the window, but you could say that re-calculating someones voting definitely is more interesting than what the race itself was.

Hamilton was the only positive thing of the race, splitting the 2 RBR drivers during there dominant weekend.

but since he crashed I gave it a 0/10

for me everything is fair, schumi drove fair and lewis drove fair, its just that on this track is hard to overtake, thats all, schumi surprised button when he went out of pits, button was just sleeping

everybody says that there is almost no overtaking in F1, and when one does a great and fair move over another driver people start complaining?!!!

Maybe Button was surprised by that Schumacher move, but it is still nothing to complain about. There was no blocking, cars touching or parts fallling apart there, and as Button said his car was so fast, so why didn´t he regain his position then? Seems like Button is a bit whiney.

[personal opinion] Even I as a Schumacher-hater must admit, that it was a brilliant overtaking-move and Button didn´t manage to get past him afterwards, although his car seemed to be faster. So it is not ok to blame Schumacher for doing a "dangerous move", but Button should ask himself what he did wrong.[/personal opinion]

If i was stuck behind someone well off the pace for 30 or 40 odd laps (almost an hours running) i'd be extremely pissed too.

Well, Mr Button is a professionnal driver and in Formula 1 since 2000.
If Michael Schumacher (which i've never liked) was that much off the pace, Mr Button would have had some more opportunities to pass him (and not just in the main straight)...or, he just wasn't good enough.
Schumacher did an excellent defensive job and has been opportunist when he had to (overtaking on Button)
I don't get what is Button complaining about. He had his chances.

He's just being a McLaren driver. They do whine a lot.

schumachers move was one of the highlights of the race for me, looked like a great "spur of the moment" pass Jenson left the space and he was in it, I thought thats what we all wanted to see :)

Im back.
Didnt know Spaniards hate Hamilton that much :8: . They were boooing Lewis and only him entire weekend and on drivers parade lap you could see how he pretends to smile. I felt sorry for him when he crashed as they went really mad then. Is Alonso booed at Silverstone? :P
Prior to vettels error most spaniards were watching the race in silence but since alonso has moved to the podium place the madness began.

I was surprised that they didnt cheer our TBK team Hispania at all as only spanish drivers were supported.

The GA ticket for Catalunya is a perfect one. No need to throw € for grandstands.
The biggest let down for me was the fact that the gates to enter the track after race remained close. [']:(

Schumi  8) :flag:
