: Alonso won't get DQ'ed. They have a fuel collector section in the cars. Massa stopped post race in China and wasn't DQ'ed then.

Great drives by the top three. Pushed as hard as they could and gave as good as they could. I think they all made overtakes as well so it wasn't exactly purely a race against the stop watch.

Vettel was poor today. Never really been on the pace of his rivals at all throughout the weekend. The fact that Massa should have beat him shows how poor he was.

Will be interesting where RBR go from here. Although I expect them to murder everyone through Sector 2 in Hungary. However the Mclaren and Ferrari look much better under braking and in the traction zones so maybe it'll balance out over the course of the lap.

Schumacher needs to stop shooting himself in the foot. He's been quicker than Rosberg for a few of the recent races but keeps making silly errors. A shame Jaime missed out on a point but a solid drive. Good recovery by Kamui also. Sutil was the standout driver away from the top three though. Great effort and strategy. Probably consigns Williams to eighth or whatever in the championship behind Toro Rosso.

Webbers onboard when passing Hamilton, after the chicane. There is a flashing signal box on the left hand side. Was it yellow or green?

Edit: It's green. He got alongside before the green flag. It was fine really, but drivers not lifting through yellow flag zones needs to be addressed.

I think it was green when the move was made.

And with Alonso, I expect a fine tbh.

I think McLaren were helped a lot this weekend by the low temperatures.

We saw at Silverstone that in the damp few laps at the start & when they 1st put slicks on, The Mclaren was faster because it got the tyre temps up faster, Then after 3-4 laps when everyone got there upto temp the Mclaren's started to lose time.

Was similar today, Hamilton was super fast initially but then Alonso & Webber started to come back at him after a couple laps & on all the soft tyre stints Hamilton was fast at the start but Alonso & Webber were catching him as the stint went on.

Agreed the temperatures helped Mclaren and didn't punish their cars for being worse on it's tyres than the RBR and particularly the Ferrari. I expect RBR -> Alonso -> Lewis -> Massa -> Button order next week. Maybe Massa will sneak ahead of Lewis but I wouldn't bank on it.

However Hungary, Monza and Singapore should be pretty hot, so unless Mclaren sort out their overall downforce [or lack of it as S2 showed] I can't see them winning apart from potentially at Spa if it's cold again.

I really enjoyed it. How often do we get a 3 way fight for the lead with some passing on track? Was never quite sure who was going to win until Alonso made his final stop. And it's just visably lovely to see a narrower circuit with grass and gravel around it.

8.

A 8, but because of Hamilton winning I gave it a 9.

7 - First half was brilliant, second half was a bit of an anti-climax. Overall though it was great

9 - Quite high rating but there is good reason for that, because whole season has been boring pole-to-win by Vettel and now three guys battling in front. If next race is like this then it gets lower rating. Best race so far.

Sutil and Lewis both drove fantastic races today. I'm going to give it to Sutil, because I figure most people will vote Lewis, and I can't decide between them.

Buemi got a five place penalty for Hungary for turfing Heidfeld off.

Buemi wrote:

It's not Buemi fault. It's the fault of the ridicilous DRS. So much speed different...
