Yes, this "problem" exists...but it's been the case forever, and in every type of motorsports...it's a part of the race, i still don't get your point.

My point is Chandhok is a very unreliable driver while being lapped and he is being lapped often enough that his inexperience stands out in a significant manner. He may get it right 10 times, but during the 11th he loses his head and causes trouble. Simple as that and that's a fact IMO and not a malicious punt towards him...

The others are slowly but surely getting annoyed and that's why they try to scare him off the road... I bet Chandhok's reputation on the paddock is rock-bottom.

A 6 from me. One of the better races at Barcelona and much much better than I expected.
It had quite a fair number of drama for a dry race at least.

I wouldn't be surprised if the failure of Lewis was because of high wear
those tires aren't made to do 50 laps on, and if you give them to a driver that locks up his front tires quite regularly...

BBC just showd an OnBoard with Alonso & he not only had his left hand off the wheel to use the F-Duct but them moved his right hand off the wheel to adjust something on the left side of the cockpit and he was also looking down.

I slept for 10 laps in the middle and missed nothing. No one could overtake (other than fast cars going past the 3 new teams or guys at the back on fresh rubber). There was a little bit of action with Vettel and Hamilton at the end but I want to see some damn racing. Not rely on cars falling apart. 3/10. I'm being kind. I don't know how much longer I can watch cars parade around a circuit separated by a second.

Chandhok is one of the most liked drivers on the paddock. Massa lost control and hit him. Alguersuari (who is also inexperienced) jumped in front of him too soon. Shit happens, but none of it was his fault.

actually looking at Lewis's crash again, it initially looked like the tyre sidewall blew, but if you look closely at the video as he goes round the left part of turn 1, the camber angle of the wheel changes, then when he turns to the right, it changes to the other way, like the top mounting of the hub is flexing. Suppose it's possible the tyre blew because of the pressure being put on it by the failing joint (allowing camber changes in the tyre/wheel outside of normal paramaters), rather than the tyre actually failing by itself.

Compare it to the last 3 races wich were awesome, this one really was almost exactly like Bahrain but with a few incidents (not great racing). The GP2 race I saw on saturday (couldn't watch the GP2 race today on any channel) was more exciting (not much though)

They are designed to do that, and the rim broke before the tyre deflated. The tyre didn't fail, it suddenly deflated because it was no longer attached to the rim.

BBC just showd an OnBoard with Alonso & he not only had his left hand off the wheel to use the F-Duct but them moved his right hand off the wheel to adjust something on the left side of the cockpit and he was also looking down.

Not sure if this has been picked up on at all but at one point we had an onboard with Kobayashi at one point and he was doing something similar to the Ferrari all the way down the straight.

they said they have an F-Duct, it probably works the same way as the Ferrari one they do have a close relationship with them

That's his right hand underneath his left hand, reaching at something to the left.

Yeah he was operating the F-duct with his left hand and adjusting the brake bias with his right hand, at various points all weekend long.

I didn't see anything wrong with Michael's pass. Haven't seen it again since though. There was one lap where Michael did leave a small gap on the inside but Button still tried the outside. Hindsight is a wonderful thing though.
