Probably Hungary, but might consider Silverstone just out of convenience.

Spa it is again, can't go wrong with that, even in the rain. General admission tickets offer the best views on the track 8) Much, much better than paying 400+€ for some crappy seats at the ring, miles away from the track...

Probably going to my first race,to Monza in September. As we here work just 4,5 months non stop because of the touristic season,it will be hard to ask 3,4 days free, but I could get it,shame i can't be there on thursday to see some pit close ups and maybe some drivers.
Tickets will be GA,and we'll go probably inside of Lesmo 2.

I'm not really planning to attend an event his year. I thought about Monaco for a brief time, and then Spa again traditionally. But to be honest, I feel more comfortable and better informed when watching from home. Also, and with the greatest respect to everyone on this board, there are always some fans around which make me ashamed to be F1 fan. I'd rather avoid those.

For me they are certainly not worth the price, and I've also been there before.
You do see a lot, no doubt - but it's too far away from the action for my liking. And the Mercedes Arena itself is just boring to watch.

the problem with that Mercedes Arena is that it has 'artificial' written all over it. Old first corner was extremely good.

Same here, for my first race ever (since it's close from here and well, !SPA!). The main reason I never went to a GP is mainly that I don't know anyone interested and going alone seems a bit boring.

Seeing the number of people going this year, if there's a TBK meet-up there I'd definitely join in (general admission) :)

Thinking about heading to Spa this year. Camping is not an option, had a little look at hotels and they all seem to be booked up, is this likely to be the case? We could go with a company that sorts travel there and the hotel, has anyone got any experience with any of the various companies?

I went with Leger Holidays in 2009. It was okay. You get to the track at about 10/10.30 and leave around 4. Our hotel was in Leuven, which I think was about a 90 minute drive away. We went Saturday/Sunday with them.

If you want to go, I guess it's good. If you're hardcore and want to watch everything, I'd give it a miss. Lots of uncomfortable coach travel!

Oh thanks Phil (and gd49 for asking), I didn't know there was this option, could be good for a car-less n00b like me.

Ordered 2 bronze tickets for Spa this week. They are weekend tickets because they were €5 cheaper than the Sunday tickets :? Don't know if I'll go the other 2 days though
