Scotty wrote: So they should be hitting around 360km/h here? Cars are usually pretty generously geared for most circuits. Which makes the FIA's stance on safety so much more baffling. The potential highest speeds of the year on a street circuit? Yet they have acres of tarmac run off for piddly little corners. I echo your sentiments about Valencia Scotty, that should have been a fantastic race track, had all the right ingredients and think in the current guise of F1 the racing would have been great. |

Valencia's problem is that the straights weren't straight and it was super dusty off line. A recipe for no passing. |

Whatever for the track layout, the scenery is 100 times better than any new street track in ages, besides Singapure. Also, Abu Dhabi and Korea looked like a street circuit on the map but they were full tarmacked tilkedromes. Boring turns with boring run-offs. And no street buildings in sight. |

Korea said they were gonna build a city around the track One thing this track does have is not many corners, so it might be able to produce some decent races. |

Track looks promising. Going by that virtual sim, like mclaren2008 said, I wouldn't want to go off at some of those high speed blind kinks. That uphill one lane section looks interesting too. |

The corners around the castle are just ridiculous. There is barely enough room for the medical car to get through there just by itself. So what do they do? Make a ridiculously tight corner even tighter by extending the inside kerb out further than it should be. |
