Gutierrez to Q3 for the first time. Maldonado is the only non-Caterham, non-Marussia driver who hasn't reached Q3 this year.

Have we got enough forum funds to pay Grosjean to take Vettel out at the start?

That's probably more than Lotus is giving him as the moment

I'd actually prefer it if Nico took Vettel out, would be nice to see Romain win. Mind you I've said that any time the Lotus looked competitive and he's then underwhelmed.

I do agree with what Massa said post-qualifying, if I parse his words slightly. If Vettel is in 1st, there's no need for him to let Alonso past, because Fernando isn't going to be winning the title.

Having back pain.

Which was caused by loose seat on Friday. Kimi hurt his back when he attacked the curbs. Valsecchi was ready to replace Kimi for the qualifying, but that was not necessary.

If kimi couldn't race can valsechi take his seat? What are the rules here? I ask as kimi drove for that position so could another driver take it if he can't race today?

I think a driver should be changed before Saturday morning's FP3. If this hasn't happened, the driver and the car would be retired.

Could be wrong though.
