Right then, I am goin to look for advice as I am going on Sat and Sun. I new advice on:

Clothing and footwear,
Food and money,
Places/corners to visit
Time of arrivals and departures.

As I haven't been to Silverstone since that muddy quagmire in 2000. On Saturday, I will be getting the train and on the shuttle bus from Northampton for the qualifing. On Sunday, I will be going on the Megabus to the circuit.

Lotus to join forces with The Dark Knight Rises for the upcoming British Grand Prix

The deal means the team's cars, as well as its garage, driver helmets and overalls, will feature the film's iconic logo throughout the Silverstone event this weekend.

Lotus said the movie's Tumbler vehicle will also be on display during the British Grand Prix.

"This season we have been the dark horses in the championship fight, so this partnership with The Dark Knight Rises is a fantastic match," said team boss Eric Boullier.

"Our car, the E20, looks superb with the Batman branding and we are looking forward to seeing the reaction of our numerous fans when it takes to the Silverstone circuit this weekend.

"We are certainly hoping for an epic conclusion for The Dark Knight Rises E20 in the grand prix."

The traffic can be absolutely chaos even on a Friday morning for practice, and on the Saturday the covered grandstands will get full very quickly if its wet. phil1993 wrote: I'm going to be getting there about 11am Will look out for that! Drivers PC is at 3, so probably. Need to talk to other journos to get into some sort of comfort zone! I'll try, but I don't have any questions planned at the moment. Will think of something on the spot probably. What days you going to be there? Mobile no?

Looks like we will have heavy showers for tomorrow and Saturday. Sunday is still wet but not like tomorrow though. I have downloaded Accuweather and Met Office weather apps so I can keep an eye on the weather throughout the weekend!
