Not bad, all considered.

Just heard there are 3 new tarmac run off areas added for this year. As if this would be a circuit with high speed corners. They just want zero retirements and no extra drama for races.

Indeed. On the exit of T3, then the two turns after the chicane :(

Not a bad job by Senna, Only around 8 tenths off Petrov having not driven an F1 car since March.

Without being too unkind to our Hungarian members, it's a relatively small, slightly unimportant country in the middle of Europe and my guess is that they'll do anything the FIA ask to try and keep their GP, because beyond that they've not got much from a sporting sense.

Well, you do have to give credit for the promotor of the Hungaroring when WTCC was around and they practically had a full house with Norbert Michelisz being the only Hungarian in the field :)

Jarno Trulli in not moaning shock:

Mik Gascoyne: Jarno back in the car and very happy with the new power steering, very good to hear

And how many venues can say they have been on the calendar every year since 1986? I can think of Monza and that's about it....
