Wasn't Bourdais a lap down and the end of the train when he rejoined at Monza in 08? That would have made it very difficult for him to progress throughout the race.

Unfortunatly for him, yes. In fact as it was a wet race the first lap was just after the formation lap that is to say it was a rolling start. Very unlucky moment for Seb (I would say once again but after all to be a champion or simply to stay in F1 you have to be a little bit lucky).

They're not as high as in Nürburgring. Lot's of super slow-motion kerb jumping coming up...

Why? Those kerbs have no effect on the overtaking. They're a bit like the kerbs at Montreal final chicane, and that's a great chicane. If someone takes a kerb to hard he will have a bad exit and could be overtaken into the second chicane, so it could improve overtaking.

Hopefully we see something happen.

There used to be a tyre bundle on the apex of the pre 2000 chicane in 1996 and Damon Hill hit it.

That's indeed one way to discourage defensive driving though because in the past the drivers on the outside would indeed take too much curbs on the second apex to maintain an advantage, now they can't really go much wider any more so it's more or less a single racing line chicane now. I don't particularly understand why they installed such curbs at the second chicane though, since those ones there were high enough that nobody can go straight through it easily.

Autosport have moved back into the 'don't know' territory, saying that showers in the afternoon are possible on all 3 days.

This is getting fairly silly.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I like those! But I agree with Fabs, about Fisi's old helmet. Maybe Fisi is going to take his original design back after this weekend? Hopefully at some point...
