I just made my 4th account already. They are just sick people. I know it's their footage and they have to protect it. But it's just unfair. :x

Interesting new strategy from MotorsTV

Yep, very annoying when some of my dutch friends are sending me youtube links. Most of the time when it's motorsport it's blocked here in Belgium.

Embeded and linked videos get spotted easily from the servers and usually get pulled within a month so I have decided I am not linking them in forums or other websites anymore.
Everytime i post an embeded video on a forum/messege board it gets pulled from Youtube they have now threatend a ban and made me aknowledge it before i could watch any Youtube material so i found people starting this informative message to keep their's from being removed.
it goes on your information bar on the right side of the video.

"DO NO USE THIS MATERIAL IN FORUMS, CHATROOMS, GUESTBOOKS OR ANY OTHER KIND OF PROMULGATION BECAUSE ALL THIS MATERIAL IS THE OWNERSHIP OF FORMULA ONE MANAGEMENT (F.O.M.)

TO PRESERVE THIS ACCOUNT PLEASE ONLY WATCH THESE VIDEOS..."

when you go on My Videos and edit a video you can click to say you dont want it to be embedded and/or dont want it to be shown on tv

that will also help :thumbsup:

Just received a message that one of my videos ('Epic drivers, epic moments') has been deleted because of FOM.

Wonder how long it'll take until the rest goes down.

Yeah, just noticed. First of all I don't know what they will gain by removing videos, but now that they removed my whole account, there also went videos that had nothing to do with F1. Pissed off describes my feelings towards F1/FOM quite well at the moment.

I uploaded 3D track lap of 2009 Hungaroring GrandPrix which actually Allianz PR Media Resource ... but youtube reports

Quote:
Your video, 3D track lap of 2009 Hungaroring GrandPrix , may include content that is owned or licensed by these content owners:

* Content owner: Motors TV Type: Visual content

What should I do?

No action is required on your part. Your video is still available worldwide. In some cases ads may appear next to your video.
What can I do about my video's status?

Please note that the video's status can change, if the policies chosen by the content owners change. You may want to check back periodically to see if you have new options available to you.

Under certain circumstances, you may dispute this copyright claim. These are:

* if the content is mistakenly identified and is actually completely your original creation;
* if you believe your use does not infringe copyright (e.g. it is fair use under US law);
* if you are actually licensed by the owner to use this content.

NO! They should get on their knees and beg him to make intros.

I'm glad I switched to CART, I think people might trend towards that or sportscars.

I hope not, though. I want that to myself! :lol:
