Williams looking surprisingly good over one lap at least.

Mercedes slow or sandbagging? Long run pace didn't seem too bad.

Thunderstorms likely across both days. Difficult to predict if it will hit during any on track action, and it could be instant red flag weather. 8:30am and it's already very warm and muggy. We shall see...

Today's rain will most probably be a red flag. It's a front of heavy thunderstorms mover over the UK.

The first round of storms are already 30 mins away.

Tomorrow looks entirely dry.

They need new a Sprint format. Everyone starts normally, but Verstappen starts from pre-2010 start line and has 25 laps to catch others.
