Honestly even the teams and drivers have no clue about this randomness. Listening to Ocon right now and he has no idea where the Q3 pace is coming from. |

The track evolution seemed to be quite extreme throughout qualifying making it hard to gauge the relative pace, but either way that was a mega lap by Russell. I don't expect him to hold onto P1 tomorrow past the first stint as the Ferrari's ought to be stronger in race trim, but should be a podium at the very least. A God send for Ferrari with the Red Bulls down in P10/P11 though. It might be hard for them to even crack the top 5 if this turns out to be a typical processional dry Hungarian GP... |
