Teams have to have to run 'rookie' drivers in at least two practice sessions over the season, to keep up the façade that rookie drivers have a chance of reaching F1.

That I know but then use it for someone you intend to run in F1 some day

"You couldn't get a more picturesque track could you?" said with sincerity. Proof Paul Di Resta is an idiot.

If you ignore the track itself the background is still a lot more interesting than most middle eastern tracks

They're definitely not going to run Stoffel any time soon.

and I'm pretty sure if Lewis retires for good they'll buy someone from another teams instead of putting de Vries or Vesti up

If Lewis retires for good there'll be a literal fistfight between Max and Fernando to get his seat

I mean everyone is assuming Mercedes will be back next year but even if they aren't, they'll be fighting over his paycheck lol

Max is still too expensive to be taken off Red Bull but Mercedes have plenty of options on second drivers to George which is the most correct move IMO, perhaps Ocon or Gasly, maybe Bottas returning is also an option

Max gets plenty of money from Red Bull and the car is still competitive. Unless things change drastically next season he’ll laugh very loud when Toto gives him a call

I would be surprised if they didn’t put a completely new engine in sainz’s car.

Tsunoda very close call there

Max no longer has any interest in having that headcase as his boss.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I still think it’s a dick move to set a time when you already have enough penalties to start from the back

they can still smash the car in a flying lap and increase costs for the team while doing so

Why are some drivers still taking the longer line to the finish?

I guess we'll might see some driver with engine penalties sacrificing laps to give the tow to their team mates

Qualifying was so interesting that we managed to post a whole 5 comments during.

Let´s go for at least 10 tomorrow.

Boring track, just not exciting to see cars go round here. If this quali was at Spa, there would have been more comments like: Wow, sainz towed leclerc through blanchimont, that was insane. Now it was through signe on a parkinglot, not much to write about
