I can't help but think that STR are going to struggle next year with 2 rookie's as no matter how good Verstappen & Sainz Jr are there still going to be spending most of 2015 learning & gaining experience & thats only going to hinder the team's overall performance & probably there ability to develop the car.

Plus like Davidson said last weekend with no known quantity in the team to compare there performance to, How do you really know how good a job either driver is really doing, Especially if the car turns out to be a bit crap & stuck at the back every weekend.

It's kinda what that team does though. You come in and make it or your gone in two. It really is a testing ground for red bull. As a team, sure they want good results but if you succeed you'll be straight up to the big boys. It feels more like a proving ground team.

If Magnussen keeps the McLaren seat then that will mean 3 drivers who are sons of former drivers in the 2015 field. Two of those fathers having a fairly substantial link during their own F1 careers.

Marko has his own standard. It's completely fucked and changes on a whim. But it's his own standard.

I kinda expected Vergne to stay on for roughly half a season before getting replaced with sainz. They did it before and it would help verstappen a lot in the beginning

I wonder if he thinks how the hell Alonso could keep up with that shithole in 2012.

Well considering the test appeared to be in low temperatures, I expect Vettel thought the car felt very good. Also probably thought... "now I know how Fernando won Malaysia and got lots of points at the early part of 2012".

I had banished all memories of what those 2012 cars looked like....thanks Seb for reminding me. Can I hate him for that? I mean, its not quite the finger level of hatefulness, but still.....Still can't decide what was worse, the penis noses or the farm trucks......

"How on earth he did not win the title with this thing?"

Is it? I thought it was still relatively uncommon for a driver to switch brands.

Ferrari seems to have a contract with Schuberth. Fernando switched from Arai to Schuberth when he came to Ferrari. But Kimi kept his Bell helmet this year, so no actual surprise on my side.

I thought the contract was was Schumi, who wore Schuberths from early 2000's onwards.

So Kolles might get some cheap F1 material after all. Sad to see that 2015 windtunnel model.
