I wonder, should appendixes will be cut off during incidents, if a mandatory stop should be made to change the nose.

The McLaren isn't a bad looking car from that three-quarters angle, in fact it looks quite aggressive. The Chrome may be a bit dull by now but is also not terrible, and looks better than some of their previous race liveries. Not terrible by any means. Lotus needs more views to see how that nose looks from other angles but also not abysmal.

Similar to the step noses, once these things are moving we'll be less focussed on the small area at the front of the car, and more on the whole thing and what it's doing. It would be nicer if they didn't look gash/cock whilst static (and all of those revealed so far could certainly be improved aesthetically) but they're not going to stop me tuning in come March (season still starts in March, right?) and watching.

I quite like the McLaren, colour is better. Shape looks good. Nose is ok, not ugly just different. Fingers crossed boulier is getting that job.

Both Lotus and McLaren have handled the nose pretty well. But I am really disappointed with the livery of the McLaren.

Surely the livery will change a bit with a proper sponsor

You kids have it too easy with things like car launches. Waiting on the internet for photos or live streams of launches.

Back in the day we had to wait until a week later for Autosport magazine and black and white photos of the new cars.

McLaren have made the best of an ugly situation. It's not good looking at all, it's just not as bad as it could've been.

I thought the new cars would have to grow on me and I'm right. The McLaren looks pretty good though, not sure about the Lotus.

Apart from the black and white, I think a lot of us can remember the same situation.

Loved it though.

Lotus appear to have lost Total & burn sponsorship.

I can only imagen the reaction from my son when i have this mclaren as diecast:

Daddy whats that little stingy thing on the front of that car? uh oh look downstairs then you tell me

However from the sideview it doesnt look so bad at all.
If the nose would be normal this car would look actually great from the whole perpective.

Yeah, I'm surprised by this. Now Maldonado's sponsor has taken this spot.

Apparently McLaren has a pushrod suspension at the front and a pullrod in the rear.

Now I get these mixed up sometimes, but I believe they've kept this design from last year?

One thing I've noticed about the McLaren, is that I don't see Santander on the car. I see it on the driver's overalls, not on the car.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

For some reason I thought it was, clearly wasn't. Thanks RtN.

Damn, I thought Francorchamps was also in the running.
