At least you can hear them nice in this video, now in brazil, all broadcast have the original ambient audio tunned down, it really sucks, just to listen the audio my adrenaline and tension pums to imaginable heights. Much better broadcast in that sense at the British television, and the americans for Nascar, Indy and Sports car.

Funny, I've read lots of people saying they can now hear the tires squeal but have yet to hear it myself? I must not be paying enough attention, or I don't have the volume up high enough. :)

Anyone got a video where it's particularly obvious?

We have been talking about it since Bahrain testings, when you could hear the tyres squealing on lock ups.

btw, I have been watching the sessions with the PC turned off, is it really RIP for the sector times in free live timing?

If we were a decade ago, the GP would be running right now... how's the forecast for the next hours?

I do wish they'd just go back to the old starting time for Melbourne. Getting up at 6 is as much a pain in the arse for me as staying up until 2 was, and the track looks much nicer bathed in midday sunshine.

I agree! Also, the 17:00h starting time makes it pretty much on the edge about the sunlight! Here in Brazil we used to have the start by midnight, now we have to stay awake until 3am for the start! Anyway, that isn't going to happen unfortunately!

Does anyone know where I can stream it? I found one on justin.tv, but it's not great quality (of course, it's better than nothing)

Something more special about watching it so early in the morning.

Apparently all media including the various TV crews & personalities must be off the grid before the 15 minute mark. Anyone still on the grid after that point risks having there passes permanently revoked.

Anyone try the F1 app in practice/qualy? Probably will get it but just want reassurance that it's decent.

Yeah, tried it. The app turned my phone into an oven after approximately 10 minutes of use, so I have been forced to take a break from using it every once in a while. The screen randomly refreshes, clearing all info for ±3 seconds and then shows an outdated message for a while. Other than that it's a decent app, but it's ahead of most live coverage.
