No real surprise at the top then. Solid result today for McLaren and Ferrari.

Memorable race.
Enjoyed the whole weekend. Definitely must give Imola a permanent place in the calendar.

I'm pretty sure he won't last the whole season

Expert talking here, folks.

Tbh it's not totally unrealistic that Russel or Hulkenberg might take over at some point.

Yeah, Russell needs to crash Bottas out just few more times to get his seat.

Use half a brain and see that Bottas would have gained positions on dry track the same way as Lulu did. With team orders.

Without the spin Lewis would have won easily I fear.

Hard to say. Max had the pace on the dry. But it would have been another thriller.

...the other half a brain says that Lewis wasn't well down the order before the track dried out. Sorry, Bottas didn't have a good day even before the crash.

Why they didn't investigate Hamilton reversing on the track is beyond me. I'm not saying he should have been penalized for sure, because I'm not sure what the rule says, but investigate and announce it since it was not a usual incident.

And on the comparison, they investigate Kimi for "safety car impreachment" because he spun, rejoined and didn't overtake anyone unlike what Perez did.

I'm not saying he had a good day, but you can't say he was terrible when he was taken out on a drying track by another driver with just two laps in with the slicks. Why he was P8 was simple. He didn't have straightline speed in Q3 on his last flying lap.

Was it really for the spin or did he do something else?

As for Hamilton, it's only in the pits you can't reverse and well if it's not a dangerous rejoin then there's nothing needed.

Yeah, Max was one second per lap faster out from the pits...then again Lewis was stuck in the traffic more.

For Kimi, nothing else was mentioned by our commenting crew at least. And they share all the info good and bad if there's any. So we just have to wait if there was something that was not shown on replays.

And for Hamilton reversing, they could have easily announce "no further investigation" if the reversing was allowed.
