I see it more as Vettel perhaps looking at it from the point of view that Red Bull have lost some key staff, There chief designer & perhaps he doesn't think Renault can improve as much as is needed.

Christian Horner just said on Sky that he's off to Ferrari so I guess that confirms Alonso to McLaren & Button probably out of F1. He also said that Vettel only informed them he was leaving last night.

If he'd have told them 2 months ago would STR have dropped Vergne as there now faced with either having 2 rookies or backtracking on dropping Vergne.

This is quite an incredible driver silly season. Could McLaren pull off a huge coup and sign both Vettel and Alonso? Doubtful (especially considering Horner's comments on Sky) but it would be immense.

Horner put the emphasis on youth during the BBC interview, so I assume Kvyat stepping up and Sainz getting his TR seat.

Good news for Kyvat. He has some serious talent so Red Bull have a very good but inexperienced line up next year.

Ricciardo is already in F1 since 2011. In nowadays terms a veteran.

Kimi and Vettel, perhaps the best friends in the series. It's just natural they should be team mates and I think friendly atmosphere helps Ferrari as well.
I feel bad if Vergne gets sacked; it just proves that personality and marketing value override racing success.
And after Button gone Alonso gets the mantle of most experienced driver status. And there won't be driver that has raced while Eau-Rouge had gravel. Time flies.
