Thanks for sharing!

This bit made me laugh out loud:
Quote:
Sure, going 300km/h with your head exposed, having to perfectly steer and manipulate your car’s settings to each part of the track so you don’t kill yourself, all while pulling up to 5gs on the corners isn’t a sport. But curling is.

God, I really HATE curling. Eurosport ruined my first ever CCWS live race because of Canada not so surprisingly winning a curling game. So while their coverage for CCWS should have been on for 45 minutes, they were showing the aftermath of curling game to all the 2 people who were watching curling in Europe (and who knew that eventually Canada would won) and to all the millions of racing fans who really wanted to see the race live. They did went on live after curling trophies were given, but they were not even using a tape delay. Probably the best thread I ever made came out from that: EUROSPORT SUCKS!!!!

I thought this was quite an interesting read about Red Bull and linking KERS to the suspension....

haha, pretty similar to NZ, except change the 6am start to midnight on Saturday/Sunday and replace NASCAR with V8 Supercars

The Hulk tells Lotus they've got three weeks to get their shit together.

McLaren want to put both Magnussen and Vandoorne into F1 next year.

If Hulkenberg doesn't get that Lotus seat and Massa somehow does, shows that $$$$ rules the show

Seriously. Did you really just post that amazingly obvious statement that everyone knows already?

Grosjean comes with Total backing and has been excellent since Germany; there's no reason why he's not going to be retained.

Considering Lotus' financial challenges, maybe it is more worthwhile for them to take substantial Brazilian backing (along with Massa and Nasr) and perhaps send Grosjean and his TOTAL money elsewhere.

The money brought in by Massa and Nasr will basicly be used for repair costs lol

Except that Grosjean is better than Massa and Nasr.

If they can sort their finances, it'll be Hulkenberg, if they can't then Massa.

Interesting report in today's UK papers about the cost of F1. Basically some teams (Force India) might not attend all the pre-season tests due to the expense of them.

the end seems to be like a hoax or something

The theory (cut the torque when the wheels go light) is sound for bumpy tracks though, I could see how that would work in theory.

I'm not quiet sure about their "dumping the excess power to KERS" claim works though, since KERS comes off the braking system and with a regular engine, you don't have to dump extra power because you just don't produce it in the first place.

It seems like an article based on theory that's been padded out by someone not quiet grasping the concepts of how engines and KERS actually work.

Post subject:  Re: 2013 Random F1 Discussion

but even though there are all sort of things against red bull is quite likely that nothing happens against them

mostly because next year everything changes and almost all teams gave up 2013 and nobody loses, specially if in case of a penalty to red bull they retire from f1

But why would the FIA penalise them for a system that's perfectly legal?

If anybody should be penalised it should the the FIA for wording the rule book in such a way that there are all these stupid loopholes.

penalties in the case that they'd be using an illegal system

anyway, they found something new but nobody will know it
