I don't think it's overreacting to say F1 just dodged a bullet with Raikkonen/Ocon

Blame the stupid testing ban. Pirelli does not even have a chance to test them properly...

Goes to show what a piece of shit this extreme wet tire is

Jesus christ, did your football team lose this weekend? Such rage.

The drivers can't see because the 'piece of shit' tyres are removing the water from the track and depositing it on their visors. The race was stopped because the start/finish straight is covered in Ferrari.

I mean really, just take a deep breath and count to ten...

You do realise that drivers have been complaining about the full wets for a long time? It's just another proof that they are right.

I do realise this. You do realise that Pirelli have been complaining about effectively having to guess with wet tyres because the teams and FIA haven't managed to organise a proper test for them for pretty much the whole time they have been in F1?

It's incredible that people still moan about the job Pirelli have done under the circumstances given to them. They deserve medals tbh.

Pirelli could ask bridgestone, as the latter had tires that lasted a whole race

But do tell me. What changed in the last 20-25 years? Did it rain less? Better rainn tires? Better drainage or did just no one care about the drivers and we dodged the bullet each time?

Nah, something something pussies something.

Seriously though, not an overreaction. Would've made us glad that Jules' accident wasn't caught on the live feed.

Yeah, we very nearly had a potentially fatal accident 5 minutes ago, and a car on the start/finish line along with debris all over the track. VSC would have been enough, wouldnt it?

Bridgestone and Michelin (and Good Year) had better rain tyres because of the extensive testing they could do. Remember when we hardly saw the Bridgestone extreme wets?

Drainage ís generally much better, but also I think driver safety wasn't really a consideration, even after Senna and Ratzenberger.
