Never seen a car being so dominant before... hope next year we will see more diversity at the front.

The Schumi years where much worse since the second driver wasn't competent enough/allowed to win. Now we at least have 2 drivers going for it with barely any difference between the 2, and both allowed to win.

@Mäth, that looks more like Rosberg's 2013 pole going by the telemetry graphic :p

The released 2014 graphics don't work well on my PC so I'm using modified 2013 graphics with a fake 8th gear lol

Did you not know I have NBC coverage? Meaning commercial breaks for 3 laps every 7 laps. Meaning lots of missed action...

If RtN hadn't mentioned it I wouldn't have known what happened to Kobayashi.

some say in the past we had equal bad races like this.

True.

but at least there were a bunch of retirements of whatever kind to get an adrenaline shot when watching the race.

First 5 races had 9, 14, 11, 15 and 10 retirements.

And 26 cars started the race.

Yesterday we had 22 starters, and 2 retirements...

Still, not THAT dominant. The Mercedes are up to two seconds faster per lap, that is incredible.

1988 was I think even more dominant, but very interesting. 1992 was on the same league, but unfortunately Patrese was no match for Mansell.

and I think 2004 was in my opinion the most boring season when it comes to the championship itself.

I'm leaning towards agreeing with the notion that the current Merc's are more dominant, for this one season so far, than the Ferrari's were back in the early to mid 2000's. These silver arrows are putting a beating on the field that hasn't been seen in sometime. However, if Renault didn't suck so badly I suspect the Red Bulls would be having something to say about that.
