And 5 seconds penalty for Alonso repeatingly not respecting track limits, which means the last point goes to Verstappen...

A message for Bernie -> Safety Car = different strategies = action packed race. VSC no please!

Yeah, using the safety car would also massively increase safety for the marshals.

How does Rosberg seem to get all of Mercedes' bad luck?

When Nico has got bad luck, Hamilton wins. When it's the different situation, Lewis is in the podium. Except from the case of Singapore, that when Lewis has got issues, they're both 4th and 5th (and the points bite is little).

2014: Nico takes majority of poles, meaning some races Lewis had to out race him, some races Lewis had back luck either of his own or mainly the team's making and he was further back and the title was good

2015: Lewis steps up in qualifying, merecedes a lot more reliable, Rosberg slightly loses focus it seems.....the title race is boring..

Don't worry, even if Nico reverts fully into webber/massa/barrichello mode then hopefully ferrari will have something for Mercedes next season and the good year/dull year/good year/dull year cycle we've been seeing these past few years will continue

Last year was dull as well, only less dull.

We have seen it earlier before. They don't want to sent out a SC at the end of the race for this sort of things, because they don't want to finish behind after a SC.

I know but in question was a mans life...
Im sure if the cars were louder like with the V8 then the marshall would know if some car is coming and the pick it up when passed by..

Have you heard these cars trackside?

Just because they don't have that high pitched screaming noise, doesn't make them silent. Besides, i can imagine track workers have to have ear plugs in.

It's a bit sad that there is barely, if any, mention of this in the media. Sure, it was an over enthousiastic action of a marshall, but it was too close for comfort. Where is the talk and screams for their safety? They don't even get paid as far as i know.

It's a bit of hypocrisy, screaming for closed cockpits, yet barely lifting a finger to ensure better safety for the guys that make it possible in the first place.

I don't think (but ofcourse am not sure, it is Russia after all) that anyone forced that man to run across the track.

Well, no. Everyone is oversensitive about safety at the moment. The marshall was well off the racing line and the angle and long focal length of the camera lense also did its part. Plus, he's wearing bright orange clothes. The cars don't use the part of the track where he ran and the yellow flag was out. He could have timed it a bit better, but he wasn't in danger.

I've just caught up with MSNBC's post race coverage, and while discussing the Kimi and Bottas incident Steve Matchett compared it to Schumi and Hill at Adelaide in 1994. Which means Bottas is Schumi, etc... Just gob smacked by the absurdity of his suggestion. When he started saying "I'm reminded of the incident between Schumacher and Hill at..." I was expecting him to finish with "Silverstone in 1995". But no. My word.

It does look like he went there by his own will.

Cmon kals did you not see bottas clearly slap the wall the corner before, check where kimi was in his mirrors and move over to an already almost past Kimi?

Don't be fooled by the optical illusion of Kimi hitting the rear wheel of bottas. That's what putin wants you to think happened
