I only have one regret -- from the third grand prix I would have done better," he said.

"There was no agreement on how many races I would do. I thought I had time to improve.

he said he would do much better at Spa, but we almost saw him going backwards..

I really like him as a person, but he has to accept Ferrari can't afford giving him a learning period, especially if that means 1 car finishes 1st and the other last

Which is why the current testing restrictions have to go. The teams have to give most of their pre-season testing so their drivers can get used to the car and so the test/reserve drivers and up and coming young drivers don't get as much as they otherwise would have. If Alerguesari and Grosjean hadn't done any racing this year they would have been in the same boat as Badoer having to learn the car and relearn their race craft.

There needs to be something like MotoGP where the teams are allowed offical tests after the race. It is stupid that the teams are not allowed to complete any circuit testing between the start of first practice and December 31. You can't get a young driver used to an F1 car by running them up and down a drag strip a few times.

Badoer must have done over 2000km though in just over a week, with apparently little improvement.

Fisichella was a bit of disappointment for myself. I expected him to score some points.

Liuzzi had a long break and still he managed to beat Fisichella quite clearly, until technical problems forced him to retire.

I don't think that's a reflection on Fisichella, more on the fact that the Force India was the superior car over the Ferrari by a long way. Which puts Raikkonen's performance into a better light.

I get the feeling that this year's Ferrari is a difficult car to drive unless you are fully acclimatized with it. Giancarlo should be into the points at Singapore and from there on.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Whats going on with Fisco he should be a lot closer to kimi, Speed channels reporters were saying he is having problems learning the steering wheel and the Kers is complicated fucking waa :yuk: he should have figured that out on the simulator i think he was just nervous especially with M$ standing over his shoulder all day and Badoer and all these other hangers on celebrities , i bet if you put Alonso in that car he would be right up there with Kimi and you would not see all these distractions.
Laiuzzi did a good job

Kimi has driven the Ferrari 20 times, Fisi has driven it once. Give him a fucking break.

The main reason that Fisi wasn't as quick as we were all hoping is KERS. It completely changes the way the cars handle under braking as the battery recharges, giving a lot more engine braking. It also affects the weight distribution as the unit is fairly heavy.

Fisichella didn't do a bad job by any means at Monza and I fully expect him to get quicker as he gets used to the Ferrari's handling characteristics. I don't expect him to be as fast as Kimi though.

So I'd say it is fair to say that Badoer wasn't as hopeless as we all thought.

he was. He said himself he was too slow through the corners, too carefull. And he was 2 seconds of the pace, Fisi a lot less (taken in mind that fisi is a current racing driver)
