I guess that when we hope for rain in 2016, it's enough rain to make it wet, but not enough to bring out the red flag.

Alternatively, enough rain to make it greasy, but without being enough for inters. Those are always fun conditions.

The evidence says it doesn't need to be wet at all for that :p

Also there must be no breaks in the rain, otherwise Charlie wants to wait for those breaks. Constant drizzle pls.

What breaks? They have full rain tyres, but wait oh no, they do not want to use them (thanks to Charlie). Better donate them to NASCAR!!

Virtual Safetycar works great here. No red flags needed and it returns green quickly.

The thing I don't understand with the tyres is if the teams have to notify Pirelli 4 - 5 races ahead of time, why don't they just allow teams to choose whatever tyres they want? They would still have plenty of time to produce the tyres, still have the allocation of 10 tyres so they don't have to bring more, and its not like the old Bridgestone days where they develop tyres specifically for one car.

If a team wants to try and run the ultra soft tyre at say Silverstone then so be it. They probably wont last but that's a teams choice. It would kind of bring it back to the old days of the 80's and 90's where teams try different tyre strategies.

Oh and btw bout bloody time the Bianchi family took legal action against the FIA.

Yep. Open and shut case imo, fia had their own procedures in place and failed to use them in the hope of keeping the race going

Monies for bianchi family plz, it won't bring back their son but at least it'll acknowledge the fia were mainly at fault
