Ricciardo has said the visibility through the 'Aeroshield' was OK.

That been said the way he was answering & acting during the interview made it seem like he wasn't totally convinced about it.

whenever they say "ok" I immediately hear a political correct answer.

Is that some sort of "driver's eyes" video camera perhaps? to show exactly what it's like?

That helmet is also much higher than the driver would be sitting in the car.

Look at it compared to Daniel actually in the car.

The thing that makes me suspicious about Red Bull trying to push this is the aerodynamic benefit it will obviously bring them.

This was almost certainly designed by Newey and is probably Red Bull seeing which way the wind is blowing and deciding to get ahead of the curve development wise.

To assume this is just about safety is a bit naive
