BTCC for consistent entertainment, heroes and villains, great read tracks and side by side racing

Formula E for a new approach to motorsport, great racing marketed in a new way. Is it the future? Dunno but it's a lot of fun and seems to be a championship on the up whatever you think about green racing. Best looking open wheel cars too, which helps for me.

Indycar may be a shadow of its 90s self but cart was so awesome that even it's current cart light shadow is pretty cool. If you can get over the terrible, terrible look of the cars and the default low power high grip racing and the politics, and half the tv production being crap (but the other half being pretty cool) and some shitty paydrviers and the occasional gut wrenching tragedy, it's worth a watch.

I didn't know 700hp was "low power."

default low power high grip racing Well, on the small ovals (which there are 2 of) youre right. And I even give you Texas to make it 3 races, but racing flat out in Indy at the super speedways is nothing to really complain about. Also there is nothing wring on road and street corses imho.

Remember the guy parked on the foot of someone elses pit crew member some years ago after he ran him over and got pushed back to receive a good smack onto the helmet by the guy? That was pure gold!

It's a ratio thing to the huge barn door wings they run. They'd need double the hp to replicate the power/grip ratio of cart, something they seem unwilling to do

just put 3,5 bar (or more) on the turbos and see what happens

cars wouldn't stand 500 miles, but the cars will be proper open wheelers

Tbh the 'show' could be improved just by writing the GP2 or GP3 car failure scenarios into the standard ECU.
