5 from me

Not much action. Most of time it was dull. Not action packed like previous races

I don't see the gimmick of rating a race good because an outsider won it. On merit it was pretty average.

Replace Maldonado's car with a McLaren, a Red Bull or a Ferrari and it wouldn't have been that good at all.

Still respectable for a Spanish race.

In this instance I think that the fact an outsider won it did make the race more entertaining. The fact that Maldonado had tires that were 3 laps older than Alonso's, with Alonso catching him made it very tense. Lots of people wanted to see a Williams win again and the uncertainty with tires added a hell of a lot to the race in my opinion.

If you want to pick holes in people's voting on these matters, I suggest you think back to Malaysia where you voted 0... What was your reasoning for that?

Best Barcelona race since 1996 chuva and in fact probably the best ever on this track given the winner :D

10/10

And the fight for the lead, and starting with the Starting grid.

2 guys in a gruelling duel and another one just about to catch them. Fights and duels all over the track.

I just love the new Pirelli Tyres and the DRS system.

Nascar was my favorite Motorsport series until 2011 came along.

I think it has to do with the fact that it's unexpected and people tend to expect to the moment 'reality' will come up and take take the victory away from the surprising leader. This makes people watch a race more excited.

Anyway, I felt the race was very good regardless the winner because there was a huge challenge for the win that got over only at the very final laps.

Who was the douche to rate this race 2/10? Can't he tell the difference between 2 and 9?

It was a good race for Barcelona standards, but I really hope this doesn't get higher ratings than Australia because it certainly wasn't better. The race was good, but it shouldn't get more points because in other years the race was terrible. We should compare it to this years races, not to "what we expect from a rubbish track".

Well, as things are currently standing it's rated higher than Malaysia... (+- 8,4 if I didn't fuck up)

Imo, Australia sucked this year. I enjoyed much more Barcelona than Melbourne and that is not because of Maldonado's win but rather for the tense moments where Alonso was pursuiting Pastor and both were dealing with lapping the backmarkers in the same time; Kobayashi's and Lewis' real overtakes without gimmick DRS, and the artifical passes as well from Vettel and Co. :p

Barcelona provided a real fight for the win and there was action and overtakes throughout the field throughout the race, which wasn't spoiled by a safety car. Australia was poor compared to Barcelona. Malaysia was exciting but the action was spread out. For once, Barcelona was clearly better than any other race so far in a season.

LOL at trying to argue a valid way of voting. It's a poll. Even trolling is legit IMO, it's a part of any poll.
