It wasn’t exciting regards of action but it is Monaco. One mistake is fatal here so there is always that.

It's actually quite amazing how all of these things, any of which are noteworthy, happened in such a dull race :lol:

And other races can be nail-biters, without much drama or position changes on paper.

Yeah, the only cool moment was Mick Schumacher barging Mazepin out of the way at the hairpin

Also maybe that part where Vettel and Gasly went side by side up to Casino, but we still haven't seen that yet.

I still don't know how Vettel pulled that off. I thought for sure once he ran wide onto the marbles, he'd end up in the wall like Schumacher in FP2. Incredibly ballsy move by Seb and well deserved P5.

Was handily ahead of Mazepin until a power unit issue affected the car for about 10 laps. All things considered, he did pretty well to make up the gap and finish about a second behind Mazepin.

That was classic Hamilton, he's always been one to publicly throw his team under the bus when things going aren't his way. Which is why I never put much stock into his "we win and lose as a team" charade. Although I'm sure he'll posting something to that effect on Instagram any second now.

Lewis apparently said he has no lessons to learn but the team plenty.

Bottas qualified up front so he should have been able to do that too. It’s not just the team this weekend Lewis.

I don't see what Lewis has done wrong aside from potentially be caught out by a red flag
A late charge in qualifying is classic Lewis, and it's not like he was the only one caught out by that

I'm not sure if Mercedes thought they ever had race winning pace here, Monaco is an outlyer and they weren't warming up their tyres quick enough compared to other teams (which is usually a strength at other circuits that are harder on tyres)

Mercedes screwed up both their driver's races today. Telling Lewis to back off, save tyres to run long, then bring him in early for an undercut that didn't work was their biggest mistake since the "Stay out IN IN IN IN IN IN IN IN IN IN" days....

But you know, people love it when other drivers are outspoken and they become legends for it, Lewis tells it as it is, and he's "moody" or sulking

I guess he should've shut up and said "well done today guys, not ideal but we bagged some good points, shame about Valtteri, but we'll come back next week" and hide his emotions like a good PR robot we want all the drivers to be eh?

this race was great, first time in years that Mercedes was shit performance wise and we didn't had to stand that jerk called Toto Wolff
