he was aware since last year when he said something went wrong

but he's mistaken because it wasn't something, it is everything wrong

Meanwhile Lewis is just as fast as Ferrari who were supposed to be UP TO 5 TENTHS QUICKER according to Lewis.

He sure likes to feed his fanboys.

Then you see where "Vettel World Champion" stuff comes from

It's just me, and TBF it's just because I'm stuck in 2013 mentality. :whistling:

It's me too, and it's because I got spoiled between 2000-2004...

what? Spoiled? You mean bored to death?

I'm no Vettel fan, far from it, but his "domination seasons" were pretty interesting apart from maybe 1 season so iono.

Lewis second coming of Senna fans are rather dumb.

yep, 2013 was getting quite interesting, then Pirelli changed the tires and Vettel raped the field

Every driver/team has a minority of annoying fans but for some reason only Lewis' are highlighted these days, so Iono

It's mandatory to be a "Grazze Ragazzi" Ferrari blowhard on Reddit, for example, but that's fine because Ferrari

And yeah, 2011 and 2013 were still fun for 2nd on back, unlike 2002/2004 where it was overcut at the pit stop or you're not getting by.

2014/15/16 are also sometimes listed as domination seasons by people who seemingly weren't watching back then
I guess they would've been the worst of all if Mercedes hadn't let their drivers race each other.

the main problem about 2004 (other than domination) was the complete lack of wet weather

We only had about 5 mins of rain across all of 2018 too, but it wasn't that bad.

yep, 5 minutes of rain showed how Vettel cracks under pressure and that Bottas is a little bitch

Ah yes, after that Silverstone race where the tyres were being cut by a kerb. Then Red Bull wanted the old tyres because why not and then it turned into one of the worst seasons in living memory.

Lewis did a pole lap last year in Barcelona which was a massive +2 seconds faster compared to Barcelona winter testing.

I am pretty sure Mercedes have not gone maximum here.

It's mandatory to be a "Grazze Ragazzi" Ferrari blowhard on Reddit, for example, but that's fine because Ferrari

People just hate success in general (cf. Jeff Gordon in Nascar back in the day). Even more so when the guy has every single aspect of his personal and professional life in check, is successful everywhere, remains polite, well-meaning and positive, and doesn't do anything illegal on or off track.
It therefore irks people not to be able to attack him on any front except for personal things like hair/tattoos/personal beliefs/transportation mode in the paddock, or for things out of his control like his fanbase, so they become salty about it.

Applying that success theory to Roger Federer, it isn't the same.

Do you feel personally attacked? Amusing, because it was not my intention, nor was I responding to you in particular to warrant such a reaction.

Sadly it seems that yes a lot of people latch onto something minor and trivial and get carried away with things.

But at the same time it seems the western world as a whole has forgotten how to process that sometimes some people are just dick heads.

We have all met those people (I'm sure many have thought this about me) that for no particular reason that you can articulate you just think "what a dick head". That is Lewis for me. I'm sure he is probably a lovely guy in private, but I don't know him so all I can go by is what I see.

I am however NOT one of "those" dick heads that say he is shit, or hate him because he is successful. On the contrary the man is stupidly and ridiculously talented. I loved Fernando Alonso but half of F1 fans also just think "what a dick head".

It's OK to just say that you think some people are dick heads. I'm sure many on this forum probably think the same of me....might be a grain of truth to that though haha
