I'm surprised he didn't get the seat of Ericsson.
Maybe Sutil got a special clause he's the only driver in the closet in F1...

Teams have never shared a common goal. They only care about themselves. CCWS was the ultimate proof of it. If you want proof in F1 then maybe the teams should form some sort of...association...of teams.

Wait...didn't we try that? And it ended up in them not even being able to agree on what tea bags to order for the meetings, whilst simultaneously threatening to setup there own series?

Anyone who honestly thinks the teams should have a say is completely deluded. Get more money? Sure. Drivers - yes. Teams - no.

So Bernie wants to drop Monza? What a joke that is, its like MotoGP dropping Assen, just for the hell of it.

No monza is balls and I wonder if teams like FI or Williams can afford 3 cars? We know they run a tight budget in the midfield.
I hope this is just Bernie mixing it up, cause this morning I just feel pissed off with the sport.

I'd expect a contract extension to be announced on the Saturday morning at Monza, it's probably Bernie politics.

With three cars, that'd stretch the budget not only of those midfield teams, but also it'll undercut the sponsor prices because they'll end up with less championship money and less airtime. So you'll have the same problem but with fewer teams. Because Williams, rather than being 3-4 last weekend, would have ended up probably being 4-5-6. Less exposure. You'll end up with even more dominance from the leading team.

One thing that would cut costs drastically and would help the smaller teams actual improve is stability in the rules.

An evolution of the current car is a lot cheaper than having to redesign a complete new car each years because the rules differ too much.

It may just be my rubbish memory, but wasn't it recently announced that Bernie doesn't make the decisions any more? Seems a bit stupid of him to go making pronouncements when he has been forced to step away from the controls.

I wonder if his court case is about to turn in the wrong direction, and this is an attempt to throw the attention elsewhere.

Apparently Mansoor Ijaz is involved. Feel sorry for all the Caterham employees - I can't see this ending well. Fuck Fernandes

It's like sparring business factions in American open wheel using the Indy 500 as a negotiating tool.

(We saw what came of *that*...)

Mann everything is going wrong in F1. One day they will drop Monaco too. Trust me they will, cuz they (stewards, Fom, Bernie) are on a crazy form now.

I see Albers will be a team owner!!? Better get those fuel hoses away from the cars

He still lacks funds so why would they hire him as a racedriver?

Maybe those Arab and Swiss investors have enough money (although I doubt that)?

If that's the case then when will Ferrari being putting an Italian in their car again?

Just because Albers is there it don't mean squat.
