I'd love to see Fisi in a Ferrari but it would be difficult to jump straight into a new team and match Raikkonen. I think he has the ability but needs some time with the team first.

After the performance of the car in Spa i think he has a good chance of more points in Monza anyway. Is an Italian really going to say no to a Ferrari at Monza though? Kubica would be pretty interesting also. I was worried this may be the last season in F1 for Fisi but last weekend has surely made some teams take note :) Sure, the car was great. But give Fisi credit. Sutil was nowhere near him.

Looks like the FI was faster than the Ferrari, so why should Fisi even want to join Ferrari?

Because it's been his dream since he was, like, 5 years old?

I agree, he'd probably have a better chance at going one better at Monza in the Force India thanks to the power of the Mercedes unit combined with the advances made on the chassis. But it's not the be-all and end-all for Fisi.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

If Fisi joins Ferrari, he'll probably drive the last couple of races, than he will be replaced again by Massa and his carreer will be over. According to Fisi himself that's not what he wants.

Kubica won't race in the Karting world championship (KZ1) in Sarno, maybe because he has to go on Maranello...

P.S. Shit. I'm going to Sarno tomorrow and he won't be there. Well there's still Alguersuari...

If Spa fits FI, then most likely Monza will even more suit the FI car.

On the other hand, if you have the opportunity as an Italian to race a Ferrari at the Italian Grand Prix...

Autosport's Jonathan Noble says that Ferrari's second driver for Monza (and if not Badoer, the driver for the rest of the season) will be announced this afternoon.

The Gazzetta della Sport website is reporting that an announcement will be made at 4:30pm local time.

BBC have also picked up on the statement.

That's Giancarlo in until the end of the season. Good for him.

EDIT:

Quote:
Furthermore the agreement will secure Giancarlo’s long-term future with Ferrari and it would be incorrect to jeopardise this, particularly when Giancarlo has made such a vital contribution to Force India.

Tester for 2010?
