Vegas is an oval which had never been made for Indycar. Even in Michel Vaillant 10 years before the tragedy, Jean Graton told it (check the "Ultima Speedfight" episodes). Here, it's a "classic" race track. Drivers have to be slow, and careful, like every other rainy race in history. There will be some accidents, but it can't be an horrific one like LV. If a deadly crash happen today, maybe it would have happened too on a dry day. A Senna like, for example (I mean, the piece of suspension story, if you know what I mean). Vegas, it was OBVIOUS: too many cars, and far too fast for that track! |

It would be driveable by now..... It was getting worse when the red flag came out, not enough speed to build up the downforces to avoid aquaplanning. |
