Well Vettel did it again, 5 wins in a row now. What that means is we have winners in Fermani2, LucasJeha, Bleu, a7b7u, EAS, Philthy82 and maclauren. Well done to you all. Vettel was also the top pick, with the next top pick being Adrian Sutil. A veteran of the Suzuka circuit thanks to his time in Japanese F3 but someone who while in F1 has never achieved a goods result there. Makes me wonder why I chose him.

While it was a good day to pick Vettel, it was an equally good day for those who picked Grosjean, Perez and Di Resta. After qualifying I'm sure Lucasjeha wasn't feeling too optimistic, but after the race being the only person to pick Grosjean (who took his third third place finish in a row) he must have felt slightly smug.

Commiserations for anyone who picked a Caterham, Webber or Hulkenberg. The latter two had been set fair for solid results until issues intervened. And with leader CAXEMIRA languishing with a 16th place thanks to Bottas, what has this done to the standings?

Well then. The title race has just been thrown wide open. CAXEMIRA's lead has been slashed and I join him at the head of the table. Yay me! Using the Singapore tie-breaker I currently lead my own competition! eurog91 has been making steady progress these past few rounds and now sits 3rd, just 3 points shy of the lead.

However, there are 8 people within 10 points of the lead, 10 people only 12 points adrift. Things have just got very close.
