That was the objections some of us had when it was introduced, that it would hinder you getting out the car if upside down but the powers that be considered it an acceptable risk since fire was so rare nowdays. |

There's a video of them testing upside-down extraction when it was being developed. It's definitely possible and intended with the design, but probably not with no roll hoop. |
