I liked the review, especially as I heard the Interstellar soundtrack once more 8)

And damn proud of it 8) (Spa being one of the main reasons :p)

If you didn't get the point or didn't fully understand the movie Interstellar, you could watch it a second time for free around here :D

Random question:

After the race is finished, & they have the podium interviews - Do people (Who view the race on TV) enjoy it being done in this way, or do you prefer the 3 drivers being sat down being asked the same question in many different ways in the interview room?

I personally half enjoy it, but would still like them to give an interview in the room too. I half enjoy it for this reason - the crowd at the track cheer a great drive from a certain driver on the podium & boo a driver who's performance they weren't pleased with - It kind of cuts through all the thought about did he or didn't he give an enjoyable drive to the spectators...?

The entire grandstand at Spa was booing Rosberg at the podium. Eddie Jordan putting more oil on the fire when he told us to stop since Nico did a great drive (suddenly the stupid avoidable mistake was all forgiven, while Toto Wolff would kill a man with his eyes during an interview right below the podium) If he would have won it, he would have been lynched. And I'm not a Lewis-fan. So relieved Daniel won that day.

Source? Finnish media has not said anything about it, only that Minttu did have a babyshower party with her friends and one of them used hashtag "boy".

To answer your question :

Both sides have pros and cons :) I agree that the flags should be real again ;) If there's no wind, put a fan next to it :p

Interviews on the podium make it possible for some mischief like pouring some champagne over the interviewers, let them have some fun, the sport is serious enough as it is, we need jokers !

The entire Spa circuit during the GP weekend is filled with drunks who don't even know/care what of who they are boo-ing :p . What's next, throwing rocks to the cars or beating other driver fans? We should not drift off to soccer levels :(

That's mainly due to the Dutch and German campsite parties on Friday and Saturday night ;) By the time it's raceday they're hung-over :p

F1 is an elitist sport at the best of times I think it's a shame we don't give the fans more opportunities to voice their opinions

I do not agree with their booing of nico but I'll defend to the death their right to say it :possible

Also not showing the press conference was someone the fans used to beat itv/the BBC over the head with on the coverage threads, when it reality I couldn't give leass of a shit about it.

At least this way the drivers might accidentally swear.
The best the old style press conference gave us in 30 years was Ross brawn's "must you keep laughing?" at a journalist not swallowing his latest b.s. In 2003

Some must have misinterpreted that as the baby has been born.

I think the podium ceremony is fine. They only need to make sure they get someone sane/literate doing the interviews. Get rid of the celebs too, because if they thought it would generate more mainstream conversation or buzz, it's not really working.

But at least there's nothing as cringeworthy as the horde of showgirls they put up for show, applauding. They should have gotten rid of that before they even started.

This x10. No harm in getting a celeb up there if they're actually a fan. Rowan Atkinson or Jay Leno could add some much-needed oratory skills to the interviews.

OK, that's what I thought. If I'm not mistaken, the baby should born somewhere around March-April.

Lotus in trouble as well.

On adjusted 2015 entry list they're now listed as "subject to confirmation"

A fair few F1 drivers over the years have had kids, but no-one has ever mentioned it. So why does it matter with Kimi? Well done, Kimi is fathering a child... but then so has Schumi, Mika, Mansell, Massa, Hill (sr and jnr) and many many others...

Grojean got a baby daughter I recall. We never really look into the family life behind the drivers don't we? Only the drivers and their model girlfriends.

I was playing with the thought of starting a new topic around this weeks ago. I am indeed curious which driver is married and already divorced again, how many kids... Didn't Vettel have one some months ago? Is Hamilton still with Nicole or is that over again? How many times did Alonso marry? I hardly know anything about this. Don't need too many details but a brief summary would be fun to read
