Brundle’s “x driver owns the corner” bullshit drives me fucking insane. It’s not your goddamn corner if someone is next to you. How else are you supposed to race if the guy in front is just entitled to do whatever the hell he wants just because he’s ahead?

Mazepin shows what the qualifying airborne crash could have been this weekend.

Not a fan of this track all. As others have said, it looks fun for hot lapping, but as far racing for F1 is concerned, it's poorly designed. We may get lucky this season or next season, but it's a catastrophic incident waiting to happen.

Are they going back to the order of the 2nd start? Or else how is that fair on Ocon?

Tilke hasn't covered himself in glory with this circuit.

Just wondering why Red Bull didn't decline Masi's offer and allow it to be referred to the stewards, it likely would've resulted in a 5sec time penalty, likely applied at the end of the race as we're not expecting anymore pit stops. With the race pace that Verstappen has, and with Ocon still in front of Hamilton, it's very likely that he could've built up and maintained a 5 second gap. And if not, then he would've dropped to 2nd at worst.

What the hell are the race director and the Red Bull team manager going on about? It's either going back to the lap before or restarting with the current standings, with a potential penalty for Verstappen. "I'm giving you the chance..." No, you don't make offers, you just have to enforce rules and not turn this into a travesty like Spa.

The ONLY time any of that logic would apply is if someone just divebombs the leading driver on the inside. The leading driver deserves his lane/line in that case. Otherwise, if you don’t give someone room while they’re alongside you, you’re being an asshole.
